Maj. David L. Brodeur, 34, of Auburn, Mass., died April 27, at the Kabul International Airport, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered from gunfire.
He was assigned to the 11th Air Force, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
The incident is under investigation.
