The Department of Defense announced today the death of Spc. Jose A. Delgado Arroyo, 41, of San Juan, Puerto Rico, while supporting Operation New Dawn. He died Jan. 2 in Taji, Iraq, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1013th Engineer (Sapper) Company of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
