Cryptologic Technicians (Communications) (CTO) transmit, receive, and process all forms of communications associated with automated telecommunications systems and equipment in various worldwide networks; process messages using teletypewriter equipment or computer terminals; control and operate computerized communications systems and associated equipment, including mainframe systems, satellite systems, terminals, patch panels, modems, multiplexers, and communications security devices; and use test equipment and state-of-the-art signal analysis equipment.
