MOS 6258, Fixed-Wing Aircraft Airframe Mechanic, F-35B

Fixed-Wing Aircraft Airframe Mechanics, F35B inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft hydraulic/pneumatic and structure systems.

Prerequisites.
(1) Must possess an MM score of 105 or higher.
(2) Must have a secret security clearance.
(3) Must have normal color perception.

Requirements.
(1) Complete the Aviation Structural Mechanic Core and Aviation Structural Mechanic Organizational Level Strand at NATTC, NAS Pensacola, FL.
(2) Complete the F-35 Airframes Organizational Maintenance Course at CNATT site or provided by the Manufacture.

Duties.
Refer to reference (bv), Maintenance Training Management and Evaluation Programs (MATMEP); a complete listing of duties and tasks will be provided as the Aircraft systems become more formalized.
