Fixed-Wing aircraft safety equipment mechanic, F-35B inspect, maintain and repair aircraft centered safety equipment and systems.
Prerequisites.
(1) Must possess an MM score of 105 or higher.
(2) Must have a secret security clearance.
(3) Must have normal color perception.
(4) Must meet the medical requirements for Explosive Handlers contained in Article 15-71B of reference (ak).
(5) Must meet the criteria to be fully qualified and certified as per reference (bf).
Requirements.
(1) Complete the Aviation Structural Mechanic E (Safety Equipment) Core Class A1 and Aviation Structural Mechanic E (Safety Equipment) Egress Strand Class A1 at NATTC, NAS Pensacola, FL.
(2) Complete the F-35 Aircraft Safety Equipment Mechanic Organizational Maintenance at CNATT site or provided by the Manufacture.
