MOS 6414, Aircraft Communications/Navigation/Cryptographic Systems Technician

Aircraft communications/navigation/cryptographic systems technicians at the IMA inspect, test, maintain, and repair weapon replaceable assemblies, shop replaceable assemblies, and ancillary equipment whose aggregate constitutes a complete aircraft communications, navigation, or cryptographic system beyond normal fault isolation procedures.

Prerequisites.
(1) Must be a U.S. Citizen.
(2) Must have normal color perception.
(3) Must possess an EL score of 105 or higher.
(4) Must have a secret security clearance.

Requirements.
(1) Complete the Avionics Technician I Level Class A1.
(2) Complete the Aircraft Communications/Navigation Systems Pipeline Course, IMA at CNATT Mar Unit Cherry Point, NC and have completed a sufficient period of OJT to qualify as an Aircraft Communications/Navigation/Cryptographic Systems IMA Technician.
