CASS test station IMA advanced maintenance technicians, at the IMA, inspect, test, maintain, repair, and analyze airborne weapon replaceable assemblies, shop replaceable assemblies, automatic test equipment, and ancillary equipment failures, beyond normal fault isolation procedures.
Prerequisites.
Must hold MOS 6463, 6466, or 6467.
Requirements.
(1) Complete the Avionics Technician I Level Class Al.
(2) Complete the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Test Station Operator/Maintainer/Technician, IMA Course at CNATT Unit NAS North Island, CA or NAS Oceana, VA and have completed a sufficient period of OJT to qualify as a CASS technician.
