MOS 6483, Aircraft Electronic Countermeasures Systems Technician, Helicopter

Aircraft electronic countermeasures systems technicians, helicopter, at the IMA level, inspect, test, maintain, and repair airborne weapon replaceable assemblies, shop replaceable assemblies, and ancillary equipment whose aggregate constitutes a complete aircraft electronic countermeasures system or subsystem.

Prerequisites.
(1) Must be a U.S. Citizen.
(2) Must have normal color perception.
(3) Must possess an EL score of 105 or higher.
(4) Must have a secret security clearance.

Requirements.
(1) Complete the Avionics Technician I Level Class A1, at NATTC, Pensacola, FL.
(2) Complete Helo Deceptive Electronic Countermeasures (DECM) Course, IMA at CNATT Mar Unit Cherry Point, NC and have completed a sufficient period of OJT to qualify as a helicopter aircraft electronic countermeasures systems technician.
