MOS 6484, CASS EW Configuration Operator/Maintainer/Technician

CASS EW configuration operator/maintainer/technician, at the IMA level, inspect, test, maintain, and repair airborne weapon replaceable assemblies, shop replaceable assemblies, and ancillary equipment whose aggregate constitutes a complete aircraft electronic countermeasures system or subsystem.

Prerequisites.
(1) Must be a U.S. Citizen.
(2) Must have normal color perception.
(3) Must possess an EL score of 105 or higher.
(4) Must have a secret security clearance.

Requirements.
(1) Complete the Avionics Technician I Level A1, at NATTC Pensacola, FL.
(2) Complete appropriate CNATT courses on ECM/RADCOM/CAT IID or Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS/Electronic Warfare (EW) Technician, IMA at CNATT Unit NAS Whidbey Island, WA, or NAS Oceana, VA, or NAS Point Mugu, CA and have a sufficient period of OJT to qualify as an EA-6B Aircraft Electronic Countermeasures Systems Technician.
