MOS 6492, Aviation Precision Measurement Equipment/Calibration and Repair Technician

Aviation precision measurement equipment technicians test, maintain, repair, and calibrate aviation precision measurement and automatic test equipment.

Prerequisites.
(1) Must be a U.S. Citizen.
(2) Must have normal color perception.
(3) Must possess an EL score of 110 or higher.
(4) Must have a secret security clearance.

Requirements.
(1) Complete the Avionics Technician I Level Class A1, NATTC, NAS Pensacola, FL.
(2) Complete the Aviation Basic Calibration Technician Pipeline Course at CNATT Unit Keesler, AFB, Biloxi, MS and have a sufficient period of OJT to qualify as an Aviation Calibration technician.
