Prepares proposed drawings and plans followed by final sketches, checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used, and relation of various parts to whole. Inks in all lines and letters on pencil drawings. Makes finished designs from final sketches. Uses standard drafting tools and equipment. Should have general knowledge of engineering practices, machinery, materials, and mathematics to complete drawings. Familiarity with photostat and blueprint machines helpful.
