Prepares topographical maps from any original source, such as surveyor’s notes, aerial photographs, or other maps. Makes corrections denoting changes in configuration on topographical maps as indicated by aerial photographs of the same area.
Prepares topographical maps from any original source, such as surveyor’s notes, aerial photographs, or other maps. Makes corrections denoting changes in configuration on topographical maps as indicated by aerial photographs of the same area.
Uses Army conventional signs in the preparation of military maps, mosaics, sketches. and overlays. Uses standard drafting tools and equipment.
Must have knowledge of United States military maps and symbols and be able to interpret accurately aerial photographs. Must be familiar with the technique of maintaining a field operations map. Familiarity with foreign military maps and symbols desirable.
