Supervises operation of railway freight and passenger trains and is responsible for prompt movement of freight and passengers to destination. Supervises freight and passenger train crews comprising brakemen, engineers, firemen, and switchmen. Receives and handles bills of lading and written orders. Supervises make-up and removal of freight at wayside destinations.
