Reroutes or reschedules trains during emergencies and reports all accidents to trains, damages to roads, and failures to meet schedules. Drafts written instructions to engineers and conductors. Maintains communication with other dispatchers by telephone or telegraph. Dispatches wreck train and crew to railroad sections affected by wrecks, and aerial bombardment.
Must have knowledge of rules and regulations governing operation of military railways.
