Trains animals to recognize commands and follow them. May supervise other horsebreakers, teamsters, and stable orderlies in feeding, handling, training, conditioning, and supplying horses and mules. Uses such leather equipment as halter, bridle, longe, and saddle.
Must know habits and care of horses and mules, and be capable of riding and breaking untrained animals.
